Inspirations and Limitations

If I could write a story, I would...
A book, good enough to be released to the public, is a dream. But I realise my limitations.

Whilst I write my thoughts, feelings, quotes and daily occurrences, I was unable to find an inspiration to write something new.
Inspiration is a funny thing to write about, isn't it?
Would you consider inspiration as something tangible?

Seeing birds fly freely over my house inspires me to travel and explore the world.
Birds are tangible; therefore, inspiration is tangible.

However, sometimes, inspiration comes from a thought or feeling. Feeling lonely could inspire you to try new things and meet new people.

Loneliness isn't tangible, therefore, inspiration isn't tangible, right?

But now, let's look at limitations: some are tangible, others aren't.

Not being able to fly using my own wings (literally speaking) is a limitation. That limitation is tangible. No actual wings to take flight.
However, the fear to step out of my comfort zone and the fear to try something new is intangible. There is nothing touchable limiting me at all.

So, how comes inspirations and limitations can be both tangible and intangible?

If you inspire your limitations, what happens?
But most importantly, how destroying could it be to limit your inspirations, whether tangible or intangible?

Thanks again for reading, let me know your limitations and inspirations in the comments below!

May Entertainment Favourites!

So I know this post is late, but I have never done a favourites post - so here it is...

May was a funny month, with many different events but I definitely found time for some entertainment - enjoy!!

Music Favourites Of The Month:

Someone New - Hozier

I love this song and the chorus is so catchy! I think it is such a chilled out tune, ready to crank up on those long drives! I wasn't a massive fan of Take Me To Church, but I think this is amazing!

Want to Want Me - Jason Derulo

Let's just clear this up, I LOVE JASON DERULO! ;)
This song though, is definitely my favourite! This song literally screams: "Summer, here we come!!" The tune, the lyrics, the video and HIS VOICE! Do I really need to say anything else?

And last, but by no means least: Trouble - Iggy Azalea ft Jennifer Hudson

..... WOW! Jennifer Hudson's vocals, Iggy's rap, the amazing lyrics and that tune... I am literally singing and rapping it all around the house! Definitely on my June Playlist - going to be on repeat! :)

TV Favourites of the Month:

Okay, I am a newbie to Netflix which means a free month! Yaaaay! So, I decided to do the right thing, and check out Pretty Little Liars... My verdict: 11/10! It is so gooood! Isn't it? I am only on Season 3, so no spoilers please! I lovelovelove it! If you haven't checked it out, you 100% should!
In addition to this, I re-discovered my old favourite 'Once Upon a Time' and Season 4 has just finished so I can't wait to finish that! It features some of my favourite fairytale characters and is a must-watch!

Youtube Favourite of the Month:

These beauties are identical twins with so much sass! These girls are my absolute favourites and the above video features Gabby who is also amazing! So check them all out! Glucia (as is their 'shipped' name!) do daily vlogs, get ready with me's and makeup tutorials as well as so many amazing videos! If you haven't heard of these girls now, by the end of the year, you definitely would have done! These girls also have a blog that you can check out here: lucyandlydiablog.blogpsot.co.uk

Hope you enjoyed this post! If you want me to do more favourites, then post a comment below, or let me know what posts you would like next!

As always, love you all and thanks for reading!!

Where Do We Stand?

Heyheyhey!!

If you have read my previous post, you would know that this really sweet, good looking guy had told me he liked me... But, me being me, pushed him away...

A few weeks later, after going out for lunch, I asked him where we stood. I just wanted to know, you know, for myself. It might have been a question that was too forward or too soon but I just wanted to know what the situation was. Maybe it was the wrong thing to do.

He told me the whole situation, like how he had liked me and then thought that I had friend-zoned him, and he had got used to that idea, and almost friend-zoned me... And then, ladies and gentlemen, he did the classic (are you ready for it?!)

"I mean, it's not you, it's me, I'm quite a mess right now"
"I don't think I would be great in a relationship right now"

As if he is letting me off the hook! He should've just said:

"Yes, I'm a mess, but I think I have friend-zoned you, sorry."
"I mean, you are such a lovely girl and you're super sweet, but I am not personally ready for a relationship right now, so spread your wings and go fly, you are free little bird"

Okay, maybe not that last one, but the first one he said was so ridiculously cringey that if he was to have said my version, I would have laughed with him instead of ending up laughing at him...! It's not you, it's me; like we haven't heard that one a million times before! Right?

So I wanted to know, how many of you have had experiences like this and if you have, have you just ended up laughing at how silly someone sounded?!

Speak to you soon!

Is It Just Me?

Hi everyone!

Thanks so much for the support that has been shown over the past few posts!

I have also recently got a new phone and so I should be able to post more frequently! *Fingers crossed*

So, over the past week, something really strange has happened to me that doesn't really happen at all! It all started when I went to a course introduction on Friday February 6th... I was sat next to this guy that I had briefly met before but we had barely spoken. He is a year older than me and we had so much in common it was unbelievable! We got on like a house on fire! It was so nice to be able to talk to someone new with the same interests without them always talking about themselves.

After the introduction day, we went into town together and spent so long that we didn't realise the shops shutting around us! :L

But the following Monday, he told me that he liked me - as in LIKED me....

And I panicked, as it doesn't really happen everyday! And not to me! :P Like, proper full on panic attack...

Is it just me that panics in situations like these?? I really like him I just didn't know how to deal with the situation... Are there any tips that any of you could give me and the rest of my readers on how to deal with situations like these??

So much love to all my readers and bloglovin' followers!!

Speak to you soon!!

The Changing Picture of Friendship

Hi there, The Secret Blogger Here! Hope you are all well and you are enjoying the new year so far!

You know how when you make best friends, you really hope they stay your friends forever and never change. Like, if you could take a photo of that person and keep them in that mood and that way without them ever changing. I have a group of friends that I have been especially close with over the past year. I have been close with one member for the past 4 years and the others I have been acquainted with but never as close as the past year.

One member, who for anonymity purposes I am going to call 'Cake', is such a great friend, but at the moment, I just feel as if we are drifting apart; like for every tweet she posts or every single thing she says, she becomes less of that person in that metaphorical photo. One moment she will be like the old Cake that I love and then the next, she turns into the new cake, the one that she has carefully constructed to fit in with the 'cool' people. Cake has moved on in her life and I am really happy for her but there is one thing niggling away at me. My explanation is a little out there but try and stick with it.

Cake has three groups of friends, one that she is at university with, one that when she is home she goes out clubbing with and the group I am in.

I am going to describe the groups of friends as places.

Group 1: New York

Cake treats this group of friends as if they are the bees knees. She always tried her hardest to fit in and will go to any lengths to make sure she is the coolest one there. The New York group are always (and I literally mean ALWAYS) out partying. I am not saying this is a bad thing and I am not saying that I am able to decide what she does, just pointing out a fact.  The New York Group are seen as the king pins in Cake's eyes and she does everything within her power to become king of those pins, no matter who she brings down in the process.

Group 2: London

This group lives in Cake's home town and aren't as cool as The New Yorkers but are much cooler than Group 3. The 'Londoners' are the ones who Cake chooses to go out with as they look good and, I quote, they won't "[embarrass her]" - unlike Group 3. The London group can go from bar to bar and flirt with as many people and drink as much as possible with so much as a broken heel when they get home.

And finally, last (and definitely least in Cake's eyes),

Group 3: The quiet village (like Emmerdale!)

The population of this group is small, everyone knows eachother and the families are on first name terms. This is the homely village that has a small population and would rather stay in a small village compared to large rowdy city.

The group I am in (Group 3), contains Me, Missy, Cake, Lottie, Lea and Gina (whose names have been changed to sound cooler and also to keep our identities hidden!) Every week we used to have girls nights in where pizza would be ordered, girly films would be watched and gossip would be thoroughly discussed.

It is January at the time of writing this and yet there have been none of these girls nights in since SEPTEMBER! I understand that every friendship is difficult and they are all different; so I am wondering, is there any universal way to go about this problem? What kind of friendship problems do you have? And if you don't, how do you keep your friendship so great?!

And even though who I am may be a secret, don't forget to tell everyone and share this with your friends and their friends!

See you soon,
